What are they ?
Desiccant tablets are compact, concentrated pre-forms of desiccant material, such as molecular sieve. They come in various shapes and sizes and are designed for use in components or products where space is limited but complete moisture protection is essential. The integrity of sensitive components like diagnostic test kits and electronics or materials such as adhesives is often compromised when they are exposed to moisture. Decreased shelf life and inaccurate or unreliable test results are just a few of the problems that could result from exposure to moist or humid conditions. Desiccant tablets help eliminate the threat of moisture and ensure that products maintain their effectiveness. Tablets can be placed directly inside the wands or housing of diagnostic kits or other components during the manufacturing process, eliminating the need for additional packaging space. Why use them ?
