Hi-Tech Ceramics introduced reticulated foam filters to the investment casting industry over 25 years ago. UDICELL and ALUCEL filters continue to perform in the most demanding applications. Whether for arospace, land based or commercial castings, poured in ferrous or non-ferrous metals in either vacuum or air, we have your filter.

Filter compositions in zirconia, alumina, mullite, silicon carbide and more are available to meet your casting requirements. Custom shapes are our speciality with quick lead times and little or no upfront tooling or machining costs. Dam and cylindrical shapes filters are also available for alloy producers.

Filters are specially supplied for use in the shell mold as cup, in-line or gate filters. Special treatments are available such as: perimeter edge coating, high temperature gasketing, and high surface area filters. A range of different pore sizes are available to tailor the flow rate, metal capacity and efficiency of the filters.
